Location

Evelyns Garden is set in the Oxfordshire countryside along the Ridgeway, surrounded by open farmland and chalk downland. We are close to the villages of Kingston Lisle, Westcot and Sparsholt, with Wantage (OX12 9XD) being the nearest town and the best reference point for sat navs.

Directions

The journey

From Wantage, travel along Blowing Stone Hill Road towards Kingston Lisle. After around three minutes, you will reach a sharp left-hand turn onto the Ridgeway path, signposted for Down Barn Farm.

Turn left here, follow the farm track for approximately 400 metres. Take the first turning on the right.

Drive towards Wantage (OX12 9XD)

Head up Blowing Stone Hill Road

After approximately 3 minutes, take the sharp left turn signposted for Down Barn Farm / Ridgeway

Follow the track for around 400 metres

Take the first turning on the right

If you are glamping, turn right into the glamping area

If you are wild camping or visiting the garden spa, continue a little further along the track and turn right just before the farm

Please drive slowly — the access track is an uneven chalk road.

Glamping guests should turn right into the glamping area.

Wild camping guests and garden spa visitors should continue slightly further along the track and turn right just before the farm.

The final approach is along a chalk track, so please take care, particularly in wet weather.
